Perinatal &

Postpartum Mental Health Therapy

Perinatal and postpartum therapy provides compassionate, specialized mental health support for individuals and families during pregnancy and the first year after birth and beyond. This period can bring profound emotional, physical, and relational changes, and therapy offers a safe, supportive space to process these experiences.

Services address a wide range of concerns, including prenatal anxiety, postpartum depression, birth trauma, adjustment to parenthood, identity shifts, relationship changes, and feelings of overwhelm or isolation. Therapy may also support individuals navigating fertility challenges, pregnancy loss, or complicated pregnancies.

Through evidence-based approaches, therapy helps clients develop coping strategies, strengthen emotional resilience, improve communication and support systems, and build confidence in their parenting journey. Sessions are tailored to each person’s unique experience and may include individual therapy, partner support, and guidance around bonding and attachment.

Perinatal and postpartum therapy aims to support emotional wellbeing for both parent and baby, helping families navigate this life transition with greater clarity, connection, and care.
