Shana Schwartz, MSS, LCSW, Founder & Therapist
Shana Schwartz is passionate about helping children and families arrive at a place that is healthy, safe, and sustainable. One of the most rewarding parts of her work is when a child finds success in their family, social, or academic system.
This is why throughout her work of helping families function at the highest level, Shana’s priority is always “putting the children first.” Shana’s areas of expertise include Collaborative Divorce, Parent Coordination, Co-Parenting Coordination and Therapy (including that which is court-ordered), and assessment of Autism Spectrum Disorder.
Shana earned her Master of Social Service (MSS) from the Bryn Mawr College of Social Work and Social Research and her Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Pennsylvania. Ms. Schwartz holds additional post-graduate training in Mindfulness, Parent Coordination, Mediation, Custody, and Collaborative Divorce.
Shana is also an active member of various professional groups, including the National Association of Social Workers (NASW), Specialists of Schools (SOS), Pennsylvania Society for Clinical Social Work (PSCSW), Collaborative Law Professionals of Southeastern Pennsylvania, and the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts (AFCC). Shana is licensed to practice in the states of Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
Lexi (Schwartz) Muchnick, MSW, LCSW, Therapist
Lexi is passionate about helping children and their families master the regulation of their emotions and behaviors so they can thrive. This includes supporting her clients through the big and small transitions that come up in life.
When working with children, teenagers, and young adults, Lexi’s specialty areas include anxiety, depression, mood disorders, and adjustment issues. When working with families in need of supervised visitations, Lexi provides services both at and outside the office. Beyond the grade years, Lexi supports young adults transitioning into college and adulthood, including college check-ins to monitor academic, social, and emotional growth. Lexi also works with people living with disabilities.
After completing her undergraduate work at Syracuse University, Lexi received her Master of Social Work (MSW) from the Columbia University School of Social Work. Lexi also holds postgraduate training in Mindfulness, Meditation, and Collaborative Divorce.
Lexi is an active member of various professional groups, including the National Association of Social Workers (NASW), Pennsylvania Society for Clinical Social Work (PSCSW), and the Specialists of Schools (SOS). Lexi is licensed to practice in the state of Pennsylvania.
Samantha Sternberg, MSS, LSW, Therapist
Samantha is passionate about helping children and families navigate life’s challenges with greater confidence, resilience, and emotional understanding. Her role is to offer a safe and compassionate space where her clients can be seen, heard, and supported.
Samantha is trained in working at the intersection of family conflict and child development, and can help children and teens express themselves in healthy ways. Her approach is child centered, trauma informed, and grounded in evidence based practices. When working with families in need of supervised visitations, Samantha provides services both in and outside of the office. Samantha also works with people living with disabilities.

Erica Desper, Sleep & Toileting Behavior Coach
Erica is passionate about supporting families to get adequate sleep so they can enjoy life and navigate challenges with calm and confidence. She offers non-medical solutions to sleep challenges such as bedtime battles, frequent night waking, fear of sleeping independently of a parent and more. She also supports parents to implement behavioral (non-medical) strategies to address and resolve common toileting challenges such as fear, stool withholding, encopresis and enuresis.
Erica has an extensive background in infant and child development, holds a certification as a Child Sleep Professional from the International Parenting & Health Institute, and was trained and mentored by The Sleep Lady, Kim West & Jamie Glowacki, author of Oh Crap! Potty Training. Since 2015 Erica has been the Sleep Specialist for Center City Pediatrics and Main Line Family Education. She has been featured on KYW 1060, PHL17, CBS News, and in Philadelphia Magazine & the Philadelphia Inquirer.
Driven by her passion for helping families find and build their “village” combined with her own challenges securing diagnoses and adequate academic support for her neurodivergent son, Erica founded the Confident Parenting Collective, a directory of parent-recommended providers for typically developing children and those with delays, learning differences and disabilities.
